The role of the Laundry Valet Attendant:

Responsibilities include traveling to guest rooms to pick up clothing that needs service, ascertaining completion times, counting items, and providing guests with receipts. Mark guest clothing for identification, sort items for appropriate action (washing, dry cleaning, pressing, or repair), and process clothing on the correct equipment using appropriate temperatures and chemicals. After processing, fold or hang clothing as desired and deliver to guests at their preferred time. Also, sort employee uniforms for appropriate action, process them either on-site or through third-party services, and then hang and transport clean uniforms to the conveyer.

The role also involves operating and maintaining laundry equipment, reporting problems to management, assisting with processing uniforms, room, and F&B linen inventories, and maintaining proper linen stocks. Ensures chemicals and operating supplies are well-stocked and works harmoniously with team members. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
