Job summary

Pacific West Site Services, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Technician to manage washing, folding, bagging and delivery of clean garments across SBM facilities. You will keep areas tidy, follow safety rules, and work with teammates to meet daily tasks.

Shifts run Monday–Friday with occasional weekends. Compensation is $17–$18 per hour. SBM Management Services, LP offers a comprehensive benefits package and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license may be required based on business needs and driving duties.

Responsibilities

• Wash, fold, bag and deliver clean garments to assigned warehouses.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety policies.
• Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors and coworkers.
• Perform duties individually or in a team as required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Overview

The Laundry Technician will be responsible for washing, folding, bagging and delivering clean garments to their correct areas.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments individually or in a team with other employees as required
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Maintain clean work area and remove soiled bags from assigned work areas
• Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customer in a professional manner
• Fill in during staff shortage
• Wash, fold, bag and deliver clean garments to assigned warehouses
• Removal and return of soiled bags for assigned work areas
• The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.
• Other duties as assigned

Education and/ or Experience

No education requirement 6 months to 1-year experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• A valid driver's license may be required for this position based on business needs. Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements
• Completed all safety and task training certification.
• May be required to be forklift certified.

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
