Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Garment Technician to deliver, unload, and organize industrial garments across campus, ensuring correct placement and timely delivery while following safety rules and procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable communication with leads and coworkers, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Shifts are Wednesday through Sunday, 4am–12pm, at $20.45–$21.45 per hour.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; 6 months to 1 year experience preferred.
• May require forklift certification.
• Driver's license may be required depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, unload, and organize garments to their correct areas.
• Breakdown industrial garments in warehouse for delivery by drop zone and size.
• Delivery of clean industrial garments to drop zones across campus.
• Remove soiled bags from drop zones and return to B13.
• Follow safety rules, policies, and procedures; maintain clean work area.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, coworkers, managers, and customers professionally.

Job Overview

The Garment Technician will be responsible for delivering, unloading, and organizing garments to their correct areas.

Roles & Responsibilities

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments individually or in a team with other employees as required
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Fill in during staff shortage
• Breakdown of Prudential Tall Boys in B13 Warehouse Staging Industrial garments in B13 Warehouse for delivery by drop zone and size
• Delivery of clean Industrial garments to drop zones throughout campus
• Removal of soiled bags from drop zones throughout campus
• Return of soiled bags to B13

Education and/ or Experience

• No education requirement 6 months to 1-year experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• A valid driver's license may be required for this position based on business needs.
• Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
• Completed all safety and task training certification.
• May be required to be forklift certified.

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
