Job summary

PACS is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to wash, dry, fold, and organize resident clothing and facility linens. You will ensure items reach the correct resident and keep linens clean and ready, while maintaining a safe laundry area and following sanitation procedures.

Experience in laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare is a plus, and training is provided. Pay rate is $15.50 per hour, with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, bend, lift and move laundry throughout shift.
• Willingness to pitch in wherever needed.

What You’ll Do

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize resident clothing and facility linens.
• Make sure residents’ clothing gets back to the right person—because nobody wants to play “Whose Socks Are These?”!
• Keep sheets, towels, blankets, and other linens clean, fresh, and ready to go.
• Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow proper infection‑control and sanitation procedures.
• Treat residents’ belongings with care, respect, and attention.
• Work together with nursing and housekeeping staff to keep the facility running smoothly.
