Greenville Post Acute is hiring a part-time Laundry Aide in Greenville, SC. You will ensure residents have clean clothing, linens, and bedding while maintaining a sanitary environment throughout the facility.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred.
  • Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Collect resident laundry and facility linens daily or as needed.
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens.
  • Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms and designated areas.
  • Label resident clothing items as needed.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of clean linens for resident care.
  • Inspect linens and clothing for damage and remove items that are stained or no longer serviceable.
  • Follow all infection control, sanitation, and laundry procedures.
  • Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain laundry supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.
  • Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Provide courteous and respectful service to residents and staff.

Position Summary
