Job summary

Cliff House Maine is seeking an experienced Laundry Supervisor to oversee daily operations, train staff, and ensure all procedures meet our standards. The role emphasizes teamwork and guest-facing service, with flexibility to cover varied shifts.

Job description

Full-Time Year-Round

This position will supervise, train and over the performance of assigned laundry staff ensuring that all procedures are completed to the established standards. This person will assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests.

Full Time Benefits

Pay Range: $20 - $25 per hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Supervise staff in the performance of all daily procedures to ensure they are performed to standards.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
  • Prepare and distribute assignment sheets to assigned staff and review priorities.
  • Oversee laundry operations.
  • Assist staff with their job functions where needed to ensure optimum laundry operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Flexibility. This is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours, but it’s also a lot of fun!
  • Knowledge. Proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling and usage of equipment.
  • Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and through legible writing. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Must be able to constantly push/pull laundry carts (empty and full) with potential weight of 50lbs.
  • Must be able to occasionally pull linens from washer to dryer with potential weight of 25lbs.
  • Being a great team leader means you love working with people and solving problems.
