Blossom Care Center in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to join our team. You will collect, wash, dry, and distribute linens, and may assist with residents' personal clothing upon request. The role supports a clean, safe environment and upholds resident rights.

The position emphasizes infection control, safety procedures, and positive interactions with residents and visitors. Prior related experience and the ability to read and follow directions are preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Related experience at a level necessary to perform in the role.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.

Responsabilidades

• Collect, sort, wash, and dry linens and other garments as directed.
• Count and distribute daily clean linen and garments.
• Wash personal clothing of residents who request this service.
• Maintain the laundry room in a clean and orderly manner; clean when necessary.
• Transport laundry to and from resident rooms, laundry, and other locations as directed.
• Comply with all policies and procedures related to safety and infection control procedures.
• Report hazardous conditions or equipment to the Director of Support Services.
• Understand and comply with all rules and regulations regarding resident rights.
• Promote positive relationships with residents and visitors.
