Job summary

Zahav Healthcare Consulting is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide for our Extended Care affiliated facility. You will collect, wash, dry, fold, and redistribute laundry while maintaining high sanitation standards and ensuring units are stocked with clean linens and personal items.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, OSHA compliance, PPE use, and collaborating with the housekeeping team to keep the community clean and comfortable for residents.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills for teamwork.
• Good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work semi-independently while following facility procedures.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and frequent interruptions.

• Collect, clean, and redistribute laundry throughout the facility.
• Ensure the community remains in compliance with OSHA requirements and risk management policies.
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and MSDS regulations.
• Handle potential exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases with proper precautions.
• Work collaboratively as part of the housekeeping and laundry team.
• Ensure clean linens and personal items are washed, dried, folded, and distributed.
• Follow all facility policies and procedures to maintain cleanliness and safety.
