Job summary

Homewood Suites Fremont is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure clean, fresh linens for guests and uphold hotel standards.

You will operate washers, dryers, and folding equipment, sort linens, and deliver items to floors while following safety and PPE guidelines. The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds, standing for long periods, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must follow safety and PPE guidelines.
• Regular exposure to heat and humidity from laundry equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Sort linens and terry according to fabric type and soil level.
• Inspect and remove stained or damaged items from circulation.
• Deliver clean linens to storage areas or floors as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow all safety guidelines and chemical handling procedures.
