Job summary

Homewood Suites Fremont is hiring a Laundry Attendant to ensure guest linens are clean and ready for use. You will wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel laundry, maintaining quality standards and timely distribution.

Responsibilities include operating washers and dryers, sorting by fabric or soil level, inspecting items for damage, delivering linens to storage and floors, keeping the area clean, and following safety and PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Adherence to safety and PPE guidelines required.

Responsibilities

• Operate washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Sort linens and terry according to fabric type and soil level.
• Inspect and remove stained or damaged items from circulation.
• Deliver clean linens to storage areas or floors as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and chemical handling procedures.
