SERVPRO of Farmington & Farmington Hills seeks a motivated Laundry Specialist to act as a liaison for customer needs in textiles cleaning. You will work directly with clients to monitor project status and provide estimates.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, detail orientation, and at least 1 year of related experience. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring excellent communication as you expand laundry services.

About the Role

Laundry Specialist at SERVPRO of Farmington & Farmington Hills. The candidate will act as a liaison for the customer to identify project requirements and specifications, and administer services accordingly. A self‑motivated, organized individual with outstanding customer service skills will thrive in this environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for clear and efficient project communication with the customer and project stakeholders
• Daily project oversight to include monitoring status, audit, and work‑in‑progress
• Create preliminary estimate using estimating software
• Review and validate job site documentation
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure thorough and accurate project documentation from beginning to end
• Collaborate and assist with other departments, as needed

Position Requirements

• High school diploma/GED (preferred)
• At least 1 year of customer service and/or office‑related experience
• Ability to multitask and remain detail orientedMust be knowledgeable in relevant computer applications

Skills / Physical Demands / Competencies

This role requires strong communication skills related to textiles after water, fire, or mold loss. Responsibilities include inventory, processing, and marketing as the company expands laundry services. It is a full‑time position that is not remote; you will work directly with customers at their business or home to determine the ability to clean textiles and process them at our facility.
