Westgate Resorts in Orlando, FL is seeking a Laundry Service Technician II to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial laundry equipment across Westgate properties. This role suits a skilled maintenance professional with strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.

You will read manuals, work with vendors, complete work orders, and ensure safety and optimal equipment operation.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of commercial or industrial laundry equipment maintenance experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and safety documentation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and internet applications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial and industrial laundry equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain and service laundry chemical dispensing systems.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and maintenance documentation.

Job Description

As a Laundry Service Technician II , you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial laundry equipment that supports multiple Westgate Resort properties. This role is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced commercial laundry environment.

What You'll Do as a Laundry Service Technician II
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial and industrial laundry equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain and service laundry chemical dispensing systems.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
  • Complete work orders, order replacement parts, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Partner with vendors, team members, and other departments to ensure efficient equipment operation.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in hot, humid environments around loud, moving industrial machinery.
  • Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
