Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year full-time laundry or related experience, or equivalent experience in supply/inventory.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with clean record, unless waived by management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmate laundry workers and plan laundering schedules.
• Maintain and operate laundry equipment; perform routine and preventive maintenance.
• Record operations in compliance with MTC and TDCJ directives.
• Provide safety training for laundry staff and supervise inmate workers.
• Manage receipt, storage, repair, and issue of inmate necessities; conduct inventory.
