The Community of the Transfiguration seeks a Laundry/Housekeeping Attendant to perform high-quality cleaning of Sisters’ clothing items, the Transfiguration Spirituality Center (TSC) linen and bedspreads, and to maintain the laundry room areas.

The role requires discretion, reliability, and the ability to read, write, and speak English for efficient communication. Candidates should be prepared for standing hours and light lifting during daily duties.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The following list of duties is not exhaustive and may be revised by management as needed.

• Sorts, washes, presses, and folds all laundry items.
• Places laundry in the properly labeled areas.
• Delivers laundry to designated areas.
• Serves as a backup for the Environmental Services Attendant.
• Makes beds and cleans rooms in guest rooms as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
