Job summary

Stoney Point Healthcare Center is seeking a part-time Janitor (sun-Mon) in Maintenance to support residents by keeping linen and housekeeping areas clean and orderly.

The role requires following sanitary procedures, lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintaining linen inventory, with duties including sorting, washing, and delivering clean items to resident rooms.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma and at least 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow cleaning and housekeeping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for proper care and comfort of all residents.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove from service any linen with holes or stains.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident's clothing items as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Use all laundry equipment safely.
• Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator

• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident's clothing items as needed.

• Follows all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties.

• Use all laundry equipment and supplies in a safe manner.
• Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator

Supervisory Requirements

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualification

Education and/or Experience GED or High School Diploma 1 year of experience preferred
