Job summary

Westview Of Indianola Care Center is seeking a Laundry/Housekeeping Aide for 2p-10p and every-other weekend, part-time. You will help maintain clean linen and resident garments to support a safe, comfortable environment.

As a valued member of our friendly team, you will sort, wash, dry, label and deliver linen, while adhering to infection control standards and facility policies. Prior SNF experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards for residents' linen and clothing.
• Sort, wash, dry, label and deliver resident clothing and facility linen.
• Ensure adequate supply of facility linen for residents and staff.

As a Laundry Aide you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our residents' linen and clothing. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Westview Of Indianola Care Center by ensuring an adequate supply of facility linen is available and by sorting, washing, drying, labeling, and delivering resident clothing and facility linen. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:
