Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Belmond is seeking a part-time laundry aide to join a friendly, caring team at our Belmond facility.

You will sort, wash, label and deliver resident linen and clothing, helping maintain infection control standards and ensuring a clean, comfortable environment for residents. Prior SNF laundry experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, label and deliver resident linen and clothing.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards for residents' linen.

As a Laundry Aide you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our residents’ linen and clothing. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Rehabilitation Center of Belmond by ensuring an adequate supply of facility linen is available and by sorting, washing, drying, labeling, and delivering resident clothing and facility linen. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
