Job summary

Vestis is seeking a warehouse associate in Cincinnati, OH to perform safe, accurate handling of merchandise in an industrial laundry facility. You will follow the garment numbering system, shipping schedule, and sort routes, with emphasis on quality and efficiency.

The role requires basic math, ability to follow instructions, teamwork, good communication, and reliable attendance. Overtime and weekend work may be required; the environment is a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to understand training, written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Good verbal and/or written communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with garment numbering system (GID) and shipping schedule board.
• Follow shipping schedule and categorize garments into routes (first, second, third).
• Move garments from supply rail to conveyors or hooks by route or batch.
• Hang garments by route with grouped items (shirts then pants) and separate odd garments.
• Notify supervisor of quality, mechanical, or scheduling issues.
• Monitor for wrinkles and remove garments not meeting quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow production best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
