Job summary

Colonial Group in Birmingham, AL is seeking a team-oriented warehouse associate for our industrial laundry facility. You will handle merchandise safely and efficiently, following a garment numbering system and shipping schedule.

Responsibilities include sorting garments by route, hanging shirts and pants, detecting defects, and communicating issues to supervisors. The role requires basic math, good communication, and reliable attendance; weekends and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand training, written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follows a shipping schedule and assigns garments to routes.
• Removes garments from supply rail and sorts by route or customer number.
• Hangs shirts by route and pants by route, then proceeds to next batch.
• Monitors quality and reports issues to supervisor.
• Stops the line for jams or problems and for breaks.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and follows production best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
