Job description

Laundry Attendant - Westin RDU/Brier Creek

Responsibilities

1. Follow guest service standards, including the 15/5 rule, to ensure guest satisfaction.
2. Wear the approved uniform and name tag at all times during shifts.
3. Receive, issue, and manage linens, including handling bulky items weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Communicate courteously with housekeepers to maintain smooth operations.
5. Maintain cleanliness of laundry machines and surrounding areas.
6. Manage inventory levels and organize linens by size, color, and department.
7. Dispose of torn or faded linens following proper procedures.
8. Operate washing and drying equipment properly, including chemical handling per MSDS guidelines.
9. Monitor laundry machines and report irregularities to supervisors.
10. Perform additional tasks as assigned by hotel management.
