Job summary

Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club in Dana Point, CA, seeks a Laundry Attendant to join the Housekeeping Team. The role is full-time and based on a seaside bluff within a large, multi-venue resort offering over 400 rooms and extensive meeting space.

Responsibilities include processing linens, maintaining the laundry area, and assisting guests with laundry requests. Prior laundry or guest-service experience is preferred; must communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Previous customer-service experience preferred; ability to communicate in English.
• Experience in cleaning and laundry preferred.
• A passion for spreading the light and warmth of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a sense of urgency.

• Keep linens clean and ready: handle all stages of linen processing including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and delivering clean linens.

The role is based on a 150‑foot seaside bluff within a 175‑acre property that offers over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of meeting space, and multiple dining venues.

Job Details

• Classification: Full‑time
• Shift: AM and PM – availability required on weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Hourly rate: $21.50 per hour, based on applicable experience and location
