Position Overview

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and care of all hotel guest room linens, terry, and F&B linens (if applicable). Coordinates with Housekeeping management to maintain inventory levels of linens and terry on guest floors.

Essential Functions

• Receive soiled linens and sort, wash, dry, fold, and store clean linens properly.
• Coordinate and distribute linens to hotel departments.
• Operate laundry equipment and maintain cleanliness of laundry areas.
• Keep inventory of linens and replenish supplies as needed.
• Assist in housekeeping and respond promptly to guest needs.

Qualifications

• Basic English communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Customer service skills.
• Physical ability to handle laundry and work in a physically demanding environment.

Physical Demands

• Stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work with cleaning chemicals.
