Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a Laundry Attendant for the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead to maintain a clean, welcoming environment and support guest satisfaction. You will handle hotel and guest laundry, operate pressing and folding equipment, and log your work to ensure quality and efficiency.

Must have prior laundry and customer service experience and be able to work AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior laundry experience is required.
• Customer service experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Must have schedule flexibility for AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Strong command of the English language (speaking, reading, writing).
• Able to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced position.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process hotel and guest laundry, including pressing, sorting and folding.
• Operate commercial pressing and folding equipment.
• Program and log operations for traceability.

The Laundry Attendant creates an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment. This position is responsible for processing hotel and guest laundry, including pressing, sorting and folding. Laundry Attendants use commercial pressing and folding equipment and are responsible for programming and logging of their operations.

Qualifications

• Prior laundry experience required
• Customer service experience is required, preferably in a hotel or related field
• Must have schedule flexibility for both AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays
• Requires strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing
• Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position
• Must be able to multi-task
• Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy amount of weight (minimum of 20 lbs)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and move moderate distances
• Must be 18 years or older
