Job summary

Hyatt Place Indianapolis Airport is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support our hotel's guest experience with clean, well-organized laundry services. You will operate pressing and folding equipment, sort and process garments, and maintain a safe, efficient work area.

Ideal candidates will have strong English communication, punctuality, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while delivering courteous service to guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Prior laundry experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred in hotel settings.
• Must have schedule flexibility for AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Strong command of English for speaking, reading and writing.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Lifting/pulling/pushing up to 20 lbs.
• Standing for long periods and walking moderate distances.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced setting.

The Laundry Attendant creates an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment. This position is responsible for processing hotel and guest laundry, including pressing, sorting and folding. Laundry Attendants use commercial pressing and folding equipment and are responsible for programming and logging of their operations.

Qualifications
