What will you do as a Laundry Attendant?

• Collect, sort, and launder resident personal clothing and community linens (sheets, towels, blankets, etc.).
• Follow proper procedures for washing, drying, folding, and ironing, ensuring appropriate care for delicate items and fabrics.
• Label, track, and return laundry items promptly to the appropriate residents or storage areas.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment according to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Monitor laundry supplies and report inventory needs or equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area at all times.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and community policies regarding cleanliness and hygiene.
• Provide friendly, respectful service when interacting with residents and staff.
