Hyatt Place Virginia Beach/Oceanfront is seeking a Laundry Attendant to manage washing, ironing, folding and distributing linens at an off-site Virginia Beach Town Center location. Rate of pay is $16.50/hour and includes employee benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull heavy objects.
• Must stand for the entire shift.
• Flexible hours; occasional long shifts.
• Experience in hotel laundry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests, managers and staff with attentiveness and courtesy.
• Operate washing machines and dryers.
• Load, wash, and dry linens and towels.
• Sort linens by type, color and size.
• Pre-treat stained items before washing.
• Maintain clean work area and equipment.
• Ensure guest satisfaction.
