Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Flexible and long hours are sometimes required.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects.
• Ability to stand during shift.
• Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Maintain regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and fellow employees.
• Operate washing machines and dryers; load/unload washes.
• Wash and dry dirty linens, towels, rags, etc.
• Sort linens by type, color and size; pre-treat stained linen.
• Clean dryer filter daily and maintain equipment as trained.
• Operate iron and ensure it is shut off at day end.
• Sweep and mop laundry floors and store linens properly.
• Fold towels and linens; sort clean laundry.
• Remove dirty linens from carts and keep carts clean.
• Maintain clean work area; load carts; ensure guest satisfaction.
