Laundry Attendant (Full-Time) at InterContinental Miami Downtown

Your role: As a Laundry Attendant, you will ensure the timely and organized cleaning and storage of linens and uniforms, supporting the hotel's laundry and linen needs.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and sort soiled linens, inspect for damages or stains, and record issues.
• Operate washers and dryers following manufacturer guidelines, adding chemicals as needed.
• Fold and store clean linens appropriately; operate linen processing machines.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Monitor supplies, minimize waste, and report linen damages or losses.
• Coordinate with other departments to promote teamwork and quality service.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills; prior laundry experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, push or pull approximately 400 pounds.
• Frequent standing, bending, and working in high-temperature areas around heavy equipment.
• Good communication skills; ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays if needed.
