Job summary

Benson's Hospitality Group in Athens, GA is hiring a Laundry Attendant to provide clean linens for guest rooms and support daily housekeeping operations in a hospitality setting. You will sort, wash, fold and press linens, coordinate with supervisors on special requests, and maintain grooming standards.

A high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read and speak English, and experience with laundry operations are preferred.

Position Summary

High School and/or comparable work experience

Required Knowledge

Good understanding brand products and bedding collections. Capable to rotate all areas of laundry process ( sort, wash, fold and press linen areas)

Work Environment

The duties for this position are carried out indoors. Employee will be exposed to contact with chemical compounds such as laundry detergents and other chemicals

Physical Activities

To perform essential functions of this position, the individual must be available to see, speak , hear and communicate effectively in English. An individual must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time with multi-task, stooping and reaching required. An individual should also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and may frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity is necessary for folding preparation, linen displays and paperwork, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
