POSITION SUMMARY

Provide clean linens for the guest rooms.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY and DUTIES

• Make sure all whites are clean and property fold according our laundry procedures
• Coordinate with Supervisor about special request
• Ensure good grooming and good personal presentation
• Perform other duties as assigned by Laundry Manager and General Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience with Laundry operations
• Organization skills and attention to detail
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Able to read and speak English
• Education: High School and/or comparable work experience
• Required Knowledge: Good understanding brand products and bedding collections. Capable to rotate all areas of laundry process (sort, wash, fold and press linen areas)
• Work Environment: The duties for this position are carried out indoors. Employee will be exposed to contact with chemical compounds such as laundry detergents and other chemicals
• Physical Activities: To perform essential functions of this position, the individual must be available to see, speak , hear and communicate effectively in English. An individual must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time with multi-task, stooping and reaching required. An individual should also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and may frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity is necessary for folding preparation, linen displays and paperwork, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
