Job summary

Parks Hospitality Group is hiring a Laundry Attendant for Tru by Hilton Raleigh-Durham Airport in Morrisville, NC. You will operate and monitor laundry equipment, ensure clean linens, and support housekeeping to provide guests with a comfortable stay.

The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work with a team. Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required, with weekend/holiday shifts possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines, according to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Sort and pre-treat soiled linens and garments to remove stains and prepare them for washing.
• Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper capacity and distribution.
• Monitor laundry cycles and adjust settings to ensure thorough cleaning and drying.
• Inspect laundered items for quality control, removing damaged or stained items.
• Fold and stack clean linens and garments, following hotel procedures for storage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room, including regular cleaning of machines and surfaces.
• Restock linens in guest areas as necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels and request replenishment of laundry supplies.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
• Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors or Engineering.
• Assist with other housekeeping or laundry-related tasks as required.
