Job Description

This position is responsible for processing all Housekeeping and Food & Beverage linens efficiently, meeting Omni Hotels & Resorts standards while minimizing waste.

Responsibilities

1. Sorting dirty linens from laundry chutes for processing.
2. Collecting dirty linens from Food & Beverage outlets and banquets.
3. Operating washers, dryers, ironers, and towel folders.
4. Stacking clean items into laundry bins or trucks for delivery to guest rooms or Food & Beverage areas.
5. Processing specialty items or guest requests using smaller washers/dryers.
6. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the department at all times.
7. Following safety and sanitization regulations as per OSHA and company standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 pounds frequently.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch regularly.
• Ability to understand and follow spoken instructions in the work area's language.
• Ability to travel within the hotel to pick up and deliver linens within designated times.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
