Job Summary: We are looking for a Laundry Attendant who will be responsible for collecting and washing hotel beddings, towels, and cloths. They will also fold and distribute these items to designated destinations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps. Identify stained or damaged items and determine whether they need repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
• Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from washers, dryers, or machines and place in clean linen carts.
• Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics. Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, filters, and drain traps after each load.
• Fold cleaned articles into designated sizes, either by hand or using folding machines.
• Maintain accurate records of items laundered.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Regular attendance is essential.
• May be required to work varying schedules and holidays.
• Must fully comply with the hotel's rules and regulations.
• No formal training required.
• Some experience in safety, material handling, and cleaning procedures is a plus.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods or an entire shift.
• Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance.
