Job summary

Omni Hotels is seeking a Linen Attendant to provide timely linen delivery and pickup for Housekeeping, ensuring cleanliness and Omni standards. You will gather dirty linen, transport to the laundry, and return clean items to service landings while supporting guest amenities and supplies.

The role requires English communication, the ability to multitask in a busy environment, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. OSHA/safety procedures must be followed.

Qualifications

• Environmental services experience preferred, preferably in hotel housekeeping.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Stand or walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Push/pull fully stocked carts and operate laundry equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Pick up dirty linen from service landings and deliver to the laundry.

Job description

Overview:

This position is responsible for providing linen delivery and pick up services for the Housekeeping Department while maintaining Omni standards and exceeding our guest expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up dirty linen from the Housekeeping Service Landings and deliver dirty linen to the laundry.
• Collect clean linen from the laundry and distribute the linen to service landings.
• Assist with stocking of guest supplies and amenities.
• Report any maintenance concerns to the Managers and/or Supervisors.
• Ensure clean and tidy linen at all times.
• Complete additional duties assigned by Managers and/or Supervisors.
• Operating all washers, dryers, ironers and towel folders
• Stacking clean items into laundry bins/trucks to be delivered to the guest room floors or Food & Beverage areas.
• Operating smaller washers/dryers to process specialty items or special requests for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department at all times.
• Adhere by safety and sanitization regulations as instructed by OSHA and the Omni Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications:

• Environmental services experience preferred, preferably in hotel housekeeping.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers, both in person and by two-way radio.
• Candidates must be able to multi-task in a busy environment, follow through on guest and manager requests, and work as a team player.
• Must be detail oriented, possessing a friendly, approachable demeanor and high standard for cleanliness and organization.
• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
• Requires frequent bending, reaching overhead and squatting. Lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Push/pull objects weighing up to 75 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to push and pull fully stocked housekeeping supply cart and housekeeping carts full of linens.
• Must be able to work around a variety of chemicals and be able to respond to hazardous situations.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, specifically evenings, weekends and holidays.
