Job summary

Omni Hotels is seeking a housekeeping team member to maintain clean and stocked areas across guest rooms and public spaces. You will service linen rooms, stock supplies, and respond to guest requests while upholding Omni Standards.

This role requires standing for long periods, walking, and occasional heavy lifting. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential, as is clear communication with guests and associates.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and stocks linen room / supply closets to appropriate par level.
• Empties GRAs linens and garbage hourly or as needed.
• Cleans and services all offices.
• Keeps corridors on guest room floors clean and well maintained.
• Cleans vending machine area.
• Moves furniture and supply boxes as needed.
• Completes guest requests.
• Vacuums carpet daily.
• Cleans walls, doors, baseboards and floors daily.
• Cleans all furniture, lamps, picture frames and mirrors daily.
• Replaces any light bulbs in lighting fixtures as needed.
• Cleans garbage receptacles and/or ash urns daily.
• Encourages mutual trust and cooperation among co-workers.
• Maintain a professional, neat and organized appearance according to Omni Standards.
• Respond swiftly and effectively in emergencies to ensure a safe environment.
• Attend required department trainings and meetings.
• Perform any other duties required by management.

Qualifications:

• Prior housekeeping experience required or other relevant environmental services experience.
• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires frequent bending, reaching overhead and squatting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow associates and guests in person or via a cellular telephone/radio.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high-profile events, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple priorities.
• Must possess the ability to handle stressful and busy hotel operations. Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure at all times.
• Must have the ability to report to work on time and when scheduled.
• Must have the ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
