Job summary

Omni Charlotte Hotel is seeking team members to support our housekeeping and linen operations. The role focuses on processing linens for housekeeping and Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining Omni standards.

You will handle washing, drying, folding, and distribution, with a commitment to safety, flexibility in schedule, and willingness to move across hotel areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand in workstation for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to push and pull carts up to 250 pounds often.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch regularly.
• Must be able to travel to various hotel areas to pick/deliver linen items.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sort dirty linen from laundry chute for processing.
• Pickup dirty linen from Food & Beverage outlets and banquets.
• Operate all washers, dryers, ironers and towel folders.
• Stack clean items into laundry bins/trucks for delivery to guest floors or F&B areas.
• Operate smaller washers/dryers for specialty items or guest requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department.
• Adhere to safety and sanitization regulations.

BASIC PURPOSE

This position ensures that all Housekeeping and Food & Beverage Linens are processed in a timely manner meeting the expectations of Omni Hotels & Resorts standards while minimizing as much discarded product as possible.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
