Job summary

Omni Homestead Resort & Spa, part of Omni Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Linen Delivery Associate to support the Housekeeping Department in delivering and collecting linen, restocking guest supplies, and reporting maintenance concerns. The role involves operating laundry equipment and ensuring sanitary, organized service areas in a four-season resort setting.

The position requires the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, with physical stamina and a commitment to Omni’s service

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly in English with guests and staff.
• Ability to multitask in a busy hotel environment.
• Detail-oriented with high standards for cleanliness.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance).

Responsibilities

• Pick up dirty linen from Housekeeping Service Landings and deliver to laundry.
• Collect clean linen from laundry and distribute to service landings.
• Assist with stocking guest supplies and amenities.
• Report maintenance concerns to Managers/Supervisors.
• Ensure linen is clean and organized at all times.
• Operate washers, dryers, ironers, and towel folders.
• Stack clean items into linen carts for delivery to guest floors and F&B areas.
• Maintain department cleanliness and comply with safety regulations.

Overview

This position is responsible for providing linen delivery and pick up services for the Housekeeping Department while maintaining Omni standards and exceeding our guest expectations.

Responsibilities

• Pick up dirty linen from the Housekeeping Service Landings and deliver dirty linen to the laundry.
• Collect clean linen from the laundry and distribute the linen to service landings.
• Assist with stocking of guest supplies and amenities.
• Report any maintenance concerns to the Managers and/or Supervisors.
• Ensure clean and tidy linen at all times.
• Complete additional duties assigned by Managers and/or Supervisors.
• Operating all washers, dryers, ironers and towel folders
• Stacking clean items into laundry bins/trucks to be delivered to the guest room floors or Food & Beverage areas.
• Operating smaller washers/dryers to process specialty items or special requests for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department at all times.
• Adhere by safety and sanitization regulations as instructed by OSHA and the Omni Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• Environmental services experience preferred, preferably in hotel housekeeping.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers, both in person and by two-way radio.
• Candidates must be able to multi-task in a busy environment, follow through on guest and manager requests, and work as a team player.
• Must be detail oriented, possessing a friendly, approachable demeanor and high standard for cleanliness and organization.
• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
• Requires frequent bending, reaching overhead and squatting. Lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Push/pull objects weighing up to 75 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to push and pull fully stocked housekeeping supply cart and housekeeping carts full of linens.
• Must be able to work around a variety of chemicals and be able to respond to hazardous situations.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, specifically evenings, weekends and holidays.
