Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring that all laundry services for the hotel are completed as per the standard policies. Also responsible for laundry collection from guest rooms, washing, drying, pressing, and folding of all hotel linen.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Prioritize laundry needs effectively.
• Retrieve and fold linens, and stack clean linens appropriately.
• Sort clean towels, rugs, and robes.
• Assist in loading and unloading dryers; sort washed laundry items.
• Operate and maintain washers and dryers; keep the laundry chute clear.
• Report technical issues to the Housekeeping Manager or maintenance team.
• Place folded products on the appropriate racks.
• Participate in monthly/quarterly inventories.
• Attend departmental training sessions as scheduled.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the manager.
• Follow safety guidelines for chemical use and lint maintenance.

Prerequisites

• Willingness to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and professional appearance.
• Physical stamina and mobility, including reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
