Job summary

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada seeks a Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team.

You will separate soiled linens, load machines, push carts, and maintain high standards of cleanliness while following safety guidelines. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must maintain high standards of linen cleanliness and laundry room maintenance.
• Must be familiar operating all tools, equipment and proper chemical usage.
• MUST adhere to all grooming standards, no visible tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors.

Responsibilities

• Separate soiled linens and sort into carts.
• Push and pull laundry carts and operate elevators.
• Load and unload washing machines.
• Follow all safety guidelines and assist in other areas as needed.
• Stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Clear the laundry chute and separate items as required.

Responsibilities

• Separate soiled linens into designated piles and sort them into carts
• Push and pull full laundry carts
• Follow all departmental and company safety guidelines at all times
• Operate both regular and freight elevators
• Clear the laundry chute and separate sheets, pillowcases, and terry items
• Load and unload washing machines
• Stretch and fold sheets as required
• Assist in other production areas as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
