Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while following cleanliness and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate washers, dryers, and folding equipment efficiently and safely
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, blankets, and other items
• Inspect laundered items for stains or damage and pre-treat or rewash as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room at all times
• Track and report any equipment malfunctions or supply needs to management
• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and follow all safety guidelines
• Assist housekeeping staff by delivering clean linen to storage or guest room floors as needed
• Follow property procedures and brand standards for laundry processing and inventory control
• Occasionally assist with light housekeeping tasks if required

Requirements:

• Prior laundry or housekeeping experience preferred but not required
• Must be physically able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality work
• Must be available for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
