Position Overview: The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness and care of all hotel guest room linen and terry, including Food and Beverage linen for full-service hotels. Coordinates with Housekeeping Management on linen inventory levels to ensure supply needs are met.

Essential Functions:

1. Receive soiled linens from laundry chutes and carts.
2. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store linens; handle heavy laundry loads.
3. Distribute cleaned linens to housekeeping and F&B staff.
4. Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and irons.
5. Stock linens in designated areas and maintain inventory records.
6. Keep laundry areas clean and organized, including equipment maintenance.
7. Follow safety regulations and use cleaning chemicals properly.
8. Assist in other housekeeping areas as needed.
9. Respond promptly to guest and staff needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic English literacy and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Customer service orientation.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for long periods, handle laundry loads, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Work with cleaning chemicals and in warm environments.
• Visual acuity for operating machinery and inspecting linens.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Related experience is a plus.
