Job Summary:

Perform all laundry room duties to provide clean and folded linen and terry in an efficient and effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold all linen and terry.
• Remove stained linen and terry from circulation for extra treatment.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Keep laundry and linen/terry storage rooms stocked, clean, and organized.
• Ensure laundry and cleaning supplies are stocked and stored properly.
• Assist housekeepers by stripping rooms of dirty linen and terry and restocking housekeeping carts.
• Stay informed about daily hotel operations, changes, procedures, and events.
• Be flexible with work schedules.
• Report to work on time, in proper and clean uniform, including name tag.
• Perform all reasonable requests from management.
• Follow hotel policies, procedures, internal rules, and standards.
• Have knowledge of guest rooms, amenities, features, and services offered by the hotel.
• Be familiar with emergency procedures and appropriate actions.
• Be aware of guest service scores, understand guest comments and needs, and contribute to achieving hotel GSS goals.
• Report unusual occurrences or requests to the manager.
• Assist colleagues to improve daily hotel operations.
• Manage room keys responsibly, signing out at the start and in at the end of each shift.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and pass any required driver assessments (if applicable).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
