Job Summary:
Perform all laundry room duties to provide clean and folded linen and terry in an efficient and effective manner.
Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold all linen and terry.
- Remove stained linen and terry from circulation for extra treatment.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Keep laundry and linen/terry storage rooms stocked, clean, and organized.
- Ensure laundry and cleaning supplies are stocked and stored properly.
- Assist housekeepers by stripping rooms of dirty linen and terry and restocking housekeeping carts.
- Stay informed about daily hotel operations, changes, procedures, and events.
- Be flexible with work schedules.
- Report to work on time, in proper and clean uniform, including name tag.
- Perform all reasonable requests from management.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, internal rules, and standards.
- Have knowledge of guest rooms, amenities, features, and services offered by the hotel.
- Be familiar with emergency procedures and appropriate actions.
- Be aware of guest service scores, understand guest comments and needs, and contribute to achieving hotel GSS goals.
- Report unusual occurrences or requests to the manager.
- Assist colleagues to improve daily hotel operations.
- Manage room keys responsibly, signing out at the start and in at the end of each shift.
- Possess a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and pass any required driver assessments (if applicable).
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Experience with industrial laundry equipment, cleaning equipment, and chemicals is preferred.
