Job summary

MHG Hotels LLC is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure guest linens and towels are clean and ready. You will operate washing and drying equipment, select materials, and keep linen carts organized, contributing to guest comfort and cleanliness.

The role offers flexible shifts, with Morning/Evening/Night, weekends, and options for Full-Time or Part-Time schedules, plus a benefits package including time off, insurance, and retirement contributions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel laundry or similar.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and perform repetitive motions.
• Professional demeanor and clean uniform required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing and drying machinery.
• Select appropriate cleaning materials.
• Maximize efficiency and conserve water by controlling load content and size.
• Remove debris from floor after sorting.
• Inspect cleanliness of laundered articles and place in clean linen carts.
• Identify stained or damaged linen and determine status for repair, rewash, discard or review by supervisor.
• Fold articles into designated sizes by hand or using folding machine.
• Clean lint traps.
• Maintain accurate records of items laundered.
• Replenish laundry supplies as needed throughout shift.
• Select necessary personal protective equipment for surfaces and cleaning jobs.
• Ensure cleanliness and condition of each assigned area meets standards.

As Laundry Attendants, you will:

Minimum Requirements:

To be a successful Laundry Attendant, you need a professional demeanor, clear communication skills and appearance in a clean uniform is required. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending below the knees, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching overhead, and moving up to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps. Grasp turn and manipulate objects varying in size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (i.e., identify defects). Comply with all safety policies and report any maintenance, problems, safety hazards, accidents, and injuries.
