Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC seeks a part-time Laundry Attendant at Holiday Inn Lucedale, MS. You will process soiled linen, operate laundry equipment, and help keep guest areas clean and orderly while maintaining a courteous demeanor.

The role supports guest satisfaction through timely laundry services, equipment safety, and teamwork with hotel staff. Prior experience is not required, and uniforms are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred or required.
• No formal experience required for the role.
• Ability to recognize and work with numbers is needed.
• Operate industrial laundry equipment efficiently and safely.
• Communicate clearly with guests, vendors, staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort and weigh soiled linen; place into appropriate containers.
• Process sorted linen using washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, irons and feeders.
• Turn in all items from Laundry Chute/Department to Supervisor for Lost and Found logging.
• Fulfill guest requests and address problems to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Report malfunctioning or damaged equipment to Supervisor.
• Notify supervisor of supplies needed, damaged linens or hazards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
