JOB DESCRIPTION

The purpose of THE Laundry Attendant at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lockport is to be responsible for the overall operation of the laundry facility and to ensure an adequate supply of clean linen is available in accordance with the hotel’s policies/procedures and the brand’s operating standards for guest satisfaction, quality, and safety and security. The position requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, and strong customer service skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect and separate dirty linens, treating stains, and following cleaning procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry area, including cleaning equipment and managing trash.
• Handle inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Provide guest supplies and respond to requests with excellent customer service.
• Adhere to safety protocols and report any security concerns.
• Support teamwork by assisting with training new staff and ensuring public areas are well presented.
• Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs.), standing, walking, bending, and pushing carts.
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and follow safety guidelines.
