Element Lenox Berkshires is seeking a part-time Laundry Attendant to support hotel linen operations in Lenox, MA. The role requires weekend and holiday availability and offers a range of benefits aligned with hospitality positions.

Responsibilities include operating washers/dryers, adding chemicals, folding linens, counting inventories, and ensuring safe, efficient workflows. Physical tasks may involve lifting and bending, with proper safety guidance provided.

• Strong physical stamina to stand, walk, reach, push, pull, and bend for shifts.

• Operates washers and dryers according to capacity and manufacturer guidelines.
• Adds necessary chemicals before wash cycles.
• Folds clean linens and stores them properly.
• Assists in daily linen counts for monthly inventories.
• Informs supervisor of malfunctioning equipment.
• Records all damaged or stained linens.
• Follows energy conservation and safety regulations.
• Notifies supervisor of incidents affecting operations or guest services.
• Cleans dryers promptly after cooling.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

Laundry Attendant ensures hotel qualities are met and hotel linens are cleaned and stored in a timely, organized manner according to policies and procedures. Job requirements include high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read and understand directions on equipment and supplies. Physical requirements include standing, walking, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, and bending. Occasionally may need to lift 50-100 lbs. (with help) if needed.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

• Operates washers and dryers according to recommended capacity and other manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensures necessary chemicals are added prior to wash cycles.
• Folds clean linens and stores as appropriate.
• Assists in daily linen counts for monthly inventories.
• Informs supervisor of malfunctioning equipment.

• Notifies supervisor of incidents or conflicts that affect normal business operations or guest services.
• Cleans dryers promptly after cooling
• Clean and sweet working area.
