Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Laundry Attendant to operate washers and dryers, sort and fold linens, and help maintain cleanliness in hotel laundry operations. No prior experience required, though a GED/HS diploma is preferred, and basic machine knowledge is helpful.

You will weigh linen, load machines, monitor cycles, and place folded items on shelves, aiming to meet daily productivity standards in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required; laundry experience is a plus.
• Certificates & Licenses: First aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sorts linen (terry, sheets, pillowcases) and weighs linen before loading washers.
• Loads dryers and monitors cycles to ensure proper drying.
• Operates washing and drying machines and maintains productivity standards.
• Folds linen and sheets to standard sizes and places them on marked shelves.

Overview:

The Laundry Attendant operates or tends to washers to wash articles, such as towels, linens, blankets, napkins, etc. for the hotel.

Potential Career Paths:

Housekeeping Supervisor – Housekeeping Manager – Operations Manager – Assistant General Manager – General Manager – Area Vice President of Operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sorts linen (terry, sheets, pillowcases). Weigh linen and load in washers.
• Load dryers.
• Know the operating function of the machines.
• Be able to maintain productivity standards on a daily basis.
• Fold linen and sheets according to proper standards.
• Place folded linen on marked shelves.

Education and Experience:

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required. Previous laundry experience preferred.
• Certificates & Licenses: First aid certification is preferred.
