Job summary

The First Group Hospitality is seeking a Laundry Attendant to manage the daily sorting, washing, drying, and distribution of hotel linens and guest laundry in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate laundry equipment safely, inspect items for stains or damage, keep the laundry area clean, and assist with linen control and inventory. Flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays is preferred. Good attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute hotel linens and guest laundry.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect linens and garments for stains, damage, or repairs needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Ensure proper handling of guest clothing and hotel uniforms.
• Monitor laundry supplies and report shortages when necessary.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Assist with inventory and linen control when required.
• Previous experience in laundry operations or housekeeping is preferred.
• Ability to operate laundry machines and equipment.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift laundry loads.
• Professional attitude and teamwork skills.
