Job summary

The Days Inn in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is seeking a hotel laundry attendant to ensure towels, sheets and linens are cleaned and available for guest rooms. You will operate laundry equipment and maintain orderly storage areas.

Responsibilities include sorting items, distributing clean linen, assisting with inventories, and following safety procedures for chemical use. A flexible schedule and teamwork are essential to delivering excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of chemicals and operation of industrial machines.
• Ability to work any day of the week and any hour.

Essential Functions:

• Sort laundry to be cleaned.
• Operate washers, dryers and finishing equipment.
• Fold, count, and distribute clean linen.
• Pick up and deliver full laundry bins to and from storage rooms.
• Performs cleaning and organization of storage rooms.
• Clean the laundry machinery.
