Job summary

Marriott Rochester Airport is seeking a friendly laundry attendant to ensure guests’ linens are clean and well-presented. You will wash, iron, press, and fold linens, handling stains and following manufacturer instructions.

You should be able to lift 20 pounds and maintain a high standard of organization and reliability in a fast-paced hotel setting. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in laundry/housekeeping, know commercial cleaning products, and can work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to lift 20 pounds consistently.
• At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Wash, iron, press and fold linens.
• Inspect linens and treat any stains found.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and notify management if low.
• Inspect laundry equipment and report maintenance issues.
• Load laundry into washers and add cleaning agents as directed.
